Xiaomi prepares Redmi gaming tablet with top-of-the-line Dimensity chip

Xiaomi continues to expand its tablet lineup and is preparing to launch several new models. One of the most anticipated devices will be the Redmi Gaming Tablet, which will be released in the third quarter of 2025 at the same time as the flagship Redmi K80 Ultra smartphone.

According to insider Digital Chat Station, the device will get an 8.8-inch LCD screen with a high refresh rate for smooth gaming. At the heart of the tablet will be the new Dimensity 9400+ processor, an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9400 that offers flagship performance.

The tablet’s body is made of metal, making it durable while keeping it lightweight.
Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi Turbo 4 Pro
Simultaneously with the tablet, the Redmi K80 Ultra will debut with the same Dimensity 9400+ processor, flat 1.5K OLED display, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, metal frame, 7,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging.

The exact launch dates for the devices have not yet been announced, but they are expected to launch in July or August 2025.
