Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+

Samsung is announcing new Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ tablets that could go on sale within the next two weeks, according to reports. Leaked renders and specs provided by WinFuture’s source reveal details about these devices, which will be available as part of a lineup with a more affordable price point.

Design and case

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+ will both be made of aluminum and will be IP68 certified, which provides protection against dust and water. The tablets are expected to support expandable storage, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, as well as optional 5G connectivity.

Characteristics and performance

Galaxy Tab S10 FE will feature a 10.9-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels and S Pen support. The screen is expected to have a refresh rate of 90Hz like the previous model. The device will be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, which is also used in the Galaxy A56, and will be available in versions with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The tablet’s battery will have a capacity of 8,000 mAh, supporting 45W fast charging. There will be a 13 MP main camera for taking pictures and a 12 MP front camera for video calls.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, on the other hand, will get a larger 13.1-inch IPS LCD display (compared to the previous model’s 12.4-inch) with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and also support S Pen. The tablet will feature a 10,090 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. However, unlike its predecessor, the model will not get an ultra-wide lens and will feature a single 13 MP main camera. The front camera will be similar, at 12 MP.

Performance and chipset features

Exynos 1580, which will be used in the new models, is an upgraded version of the Exynos 1380 chipset found in the S9 FE lineup. It is expected that the improved performance and efficiency of the Exynos 1580 could be one of the main highlights of the new tablets.
