Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra tablets

Samsung has officially unveiled its new premium tablets Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Both models get brighter displays, a thinner and lighter body, improved performance, an updated S Pen and enhanced multitasking and productivity features.
The Galaxy Tab S11 features an 11-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, while the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has a 14.6-inch WQXGA+ display. Maximum brightness reaches 1,000 nits in high brightness mode and 1,600 nits for HDR content. The panels support variable refresh rates up to 120Hz, have anti-reflective coating and a built-in fingerprint scanner. Sound is provided by four Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers.
The new tablets get an S Pen with a hexagonal body resembling a regular pencil, with improved ergonomics and a tapered tip for more precise control.
The devices are thinner and lighter: the Tab S11 is 5.5mm and 469g (471g for the 5G version), while the Tab S11 Ultra is 5.1mm and 690g (695g for the 5G version).
The two models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ mobile processor, which is considered the most powerful chip for gaming. It’s built using a 3nm process, has a single Cortex-X925 core (3.73GHz), three Cortex-X4 cores (3.3GHz) and four Cortex-A720 cores (2.4GHz), while the Immortalis-G925 graphics gas pedal provides nearly 5 TFLOPs.
The Tab S11 has 12GB of RAM and is available with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage. The Tab S11 Ultra has 12GB RAM for the 256GB and 512GB versions and 16GB for the 1TB version. Both models run Android 16 with the One UI 8 shell and will receive seven generations of Android updates.
Samsung has improved Samsung Notes and drawing and writing features. The Quick Tools feature provides quick access to settings, and Samsung Notes now has a Sticky Notes feature for easy note-taking. Samsung’s new DeX mode lets you work with up to four separate workspaces, and Extended Mode lets you use the tablet screen with an external monitor. With the Book Cover Keyboard Slim accessory, tablets become full-fledged work tools.
Cameras: both tablets have a 12 MP front-facing camera, while the S11 Ultra has an additional 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the back. Battery capacity: the Tab S11 has 8,400 mAh, while the Tab S11 Ultra has 11,600 mAh. Fast wired charging up to 45W is supported.
Connectivity: GPS, 5G and dual-SIM support (for cellular models), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C 3.2 with 5Gbps bandwidth.
The new tablets will be available in gray and silver. Pre-orders begin on September 4.
