KVADRA_T tablet based on Aurora 5.1 OS is now on sale

The YADRO company together with Open Mobile Platform introduced the KVADRA_T tablet computer, which runs on the Aurora 5.1 operating system. The device has received a certificate from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and is sold together with accessories.
The tablet features a 10.95-inch IPS screen with Full HD+ resolution, an eight-core processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Autonomy is provided by a 34.2Wh battery. There’s also a 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera.

The tablet is being offered at retail with kvadraOS operating system, which is compatible with a large number of apps and devices. For the public sector and education sector, the enterprise version of the Aurora operating system, version 5.1, is used. This is the first device to use Linux kernel version 5.10, which is supported by the Linux Kernel Security Research Technology Center. In addition, by the end of 2024, a version certified according to the requirements of the Russian FSTEC will be available to corporate customers.
It is stated that the tablet has been successfully pilot tested in government organizations, including CII facilities. Branded accessories such as a protective case with a stylus holder, a slip case and a keyboard case are also available.
