The 2024 iPad Pro will have 11″ and 13″ OLED screens and an M3 chip

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg laid out Apple’s plans for the iPad in a Power On dispatch. Apple will unveil the biggest update to the iPad Pro since 2018.

The two new models will be introduced in the spring or early summer of 2024. They’ll be 11- and 13-inch (a slight upgrade to the 12.9-inch device), and both will feature OLED screens. The current 11-inch iPad has an LCD screen, and the 12.9-inch one — a mini-LED panel.

The two tablets will use the M3 chip, which is expected to premiere in a refreshed Mac later this year. The new iPads Pro are being tested under model IDs J717, J718, J720, and J721.
