The Daylight DC1 tablet features a matte 10.5-inch monochrome display with a resolution of 1600×1200 pixels. According to the manufacturer, it doesn’t flicker like E-Ink, but offers frame rates of up to 60 per second. The device also supports a Wacom stylus, emits no blue light, has no PWM, and features a backlight with adjustable illumination temperature.

The tablet runs on a fork of Android 13 called Sol:OS. The system is minimalistic so as not to distract the user from reading, but includes all the necessary apps like Spotify, Notion, ChatGPT, Audible, Pocket Casts, Kindle and others. The manufacturer did not specify the possibility of installing third-party Android apps.

The device is built on a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with 8GB of RAM. There’s also an 8,000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 6 support, Bluetooth 5, a memory card slot, stereo speakers, POGO contacts for the keyboard, and programmable buttons.

Daylight DC1 is available for pre-order now, with pre-orders available in August and shipments starting in the first quarter of 2025. Pricing starts at $729 ($65 390 RUB).
