ZTE will launch the Red Magic 8S Pro in the global market

A couple of weeks ago, ZTE unveiled the Red Magic 8S Pro — the first phone in China to use a boosted version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is not part of the special deal between Samsung and Qualcomm.
ZTE calls it simply «the leading version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2» we prefer 8+ Gen 2. Its main core (Cortex-X3) runs at 3.36GHz, while the Adreno 740 GPU has been boosted to 719MHz (from 680MHz). According to testing conducted by Red Magic, this boosts CPU performance by 5% and GPU performance — by 5.7%.
According to Red Magic’s test results.

Three versions of the 8S Pro will be sold globally: the Midnight and Platinum (with nano-scale 3D etching), and the Aurora (transparent back panel). All three versions feature RGB lighting for the cooling fans.
All three versions will be available worldwide.

Not just purely aesthetic, the three versions also determine the maximum RAM and storage capacity: 12/256GB for Midnight, 16/512GB for Platinum, and 16/512GB for Aurora. However, there’s also a 12/256GB Aurora if you like its looks better than the Midnight. Note that the 8S Pro+ doesn’t ship, so there’s no 24GB RAM option (but you can add 8GB of virtual RAM for a total of 16+8=24GB).

Another important detail: the global version of the ZTE Red Magic 8S Pro has a reduced charging speed of 65W versus 80W for the Chinese model. The battery capacity remains the same — 6,000 mAh. This means that it takes 40 minutes to fully charge the battery versus 35 minutes for the Chinese model.
At the same time, the battery is now fully charged.
