ZTE is gearing up to launch the Nubia Z70 Ultra

ZTE will unveil its new flagship smartphone, the Nubia Z70 Ultra, on November 21. A few days before the announcement, renders and details of the device have appeared on Chinese social network Weibo.

Updated design

Nubia Z70 Ultra continues the design evolution of its predecessor, the Z60 Ultra Leading Version, but with notable changes:

  • The main camera has been moved to the top left corner of the module.
  • The ultra-wide-angle camera has taken the place of the previous telephoto lens.
  • The new telephoto lens with periscopic lens and 100x digital zoom has been given a compact body.

Innovative features

ZTE is actively promoting the Z70 Ultra’s unique features:

  • Artificial Intelligence to simplify everyday tasks:
    • Tools for time management
    • .

    • Devices that support keyboard-less control.
    • Real call transfer in WeChat – the first such feature in the industry.
  • Expanded interaction with devices (cars, sensors).
  • Algorithms inspired by Tesla, Apple and ByteDance.

Screen and body

The device will feature an advanced display:

  • Without holes for the camera, measuring 6.85 inches.
  • Resolution 1.5K, refresh rate 144 Hz, brightness 2000 nits.
  • Slim bezels – only 1.25mm.
  • IP68/IP69: water and dust protection.
