Vivo Y19s smartphone is officially presented

The vivo Y19s smartphone, the successor to last year’s Y17s, went on sale today. While the new model isn’t uniquely new, it does offer a few key improvements — notably a sturdier build, powerful stereo speakers and a more capacious 5,500mAh battery.

The phone’s display has grown to 6.68 inches with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness, though it still retains HD+ resolution. The selfie camera in the screen notch shoots at 5 MP resolution. The rear camera remains the same with a 50MP main sensor and secondary lens, but it has a new RGB LED ring that blinks when notifications appear or syncs with music, giving it an added charm.
