Vivo has launched vivo Y38 5G smartphone with 6000 mAh battery and 120-Hertz display

Vivo has expanded its Y-series smartphone lineup by introducing a new model — the vivo Y38 5G. This gadget has a fast screen, a Snapdragon processor and a higher-capacity battery, all packed into a slim body.

The device features a 6.68-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1612×720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile platform, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There is also an option to expand the storage up to 1TB via microSD. The body of the device is IP64 protected against dust and moisture.

The device has an IP64 rating.

The back camera of the novelty is represented by two sensors: a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth-of-field sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP front-facing camera.

Autonomy of the vivo Y38 5G comes from a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. At the same time, the body is only 8mm thick. The device runs on Funtouch OS 14 firmware based on Android 14.

Vivo Y38 5G has been unveiled in dark green and blue color options. The price and on-sale date will be announced at a later date.

The device will be available in Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.
