Vivo is preparing to release Y500 with 8200 mAh battery

The vivo Y500 smartphone is set to be released in China on September 1. Ahead of the official announcement, the device appeared on China Telecom’s website, which revealed its full specs.
According to the website, the new smartphone will get a 6.77-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor coupled with 12GB of RAM. It will come in 256GB and 512GB internal storage variants.
According to the website, the vivo Y500 will come with Origin OS 5 based on Android 15. The main camera will get a 50 MP sensor and an additional 2 MP module. For selfies, there will be an 8 MP front camera. It is also stated that the smartphone will get an under-screen fingerprint scanner.


The body will be 8.23mm thick and weigh 213 grams. The device will be available in Basalt Black, Dragon Crystal, and Glacier Blue.
Previously, vivo also confirmed that the Y500 5G will get an 8200mAh battery, IP69+/IP69/IP68 water and dust resistance, and 90W fast charging support.
