Tecno Pova Curve 5G ultra-thin smartphone released
By ForGeeks Tecno has officially announced its new smartphone, the Pova Curve 5G, which is the thinnest curved phone in India with a 5,500 mAh battery. The body is just 7.5mm thick and the screen curve is 55°, which the company says provides a «futuristic feel in the hand».
On the front of the device is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 1,300 nits. The screen-to-body ratio of 93.8% is an impressive 93.8%.

Inside is a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 5,500mAh battery supports 45W fast wired charging. Tecno claims the battery is TÜV Rheinland certified (up to 1,800 charge cycles) and promises a 50% charge in 15 minutes and 100% in 45 minutes.
The main camera is 64 MP with a Sony IMX682 sensor (1/1.73″), supplemented by a 2 MP depth sensor. Tecno has placed an emphasis on signal stability: the device has 86.5% antenna coverage, VoWiFi Dual Pass support and intelligent real-time signal optimization.

Tecno paid special attention to software features. The Pova Curve 5G features Ella AI, the first AI system in its segment to support Indian languages. Features include AI Voiceprint Suppression, AI Auto Call Answering, AI Call Assistant with translation and call summaries (including WhatsApp calls), and the mysterious No Network Communication technology that supposedly ensures connectivity even when there is a weak or non-existent signal.

The smartphone will be available starting June 5. The 6/128GB version will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart at a price of INR 15,999.
