Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8’s Samsung Galaxy Z camera will not receive any significant updates
The first details about the cameras of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 foldable smartphone have emerged. It was previously reported that the new product will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor and will get an Exynos 2600 processor. However, if you were expecting a major change in photo capabilities, the rumors suggest you’re in for a disappointment.
According to new information, the Galaxy Z Flip8 will feature a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle module, and a 10MP front camera. These are exactly the same resolutions used in the Galaxy Z Flip7.

Theoretically, Samsung could update the sensors themselves while keeping the same megapixels, but the likelihood of that happening is slim, according to sources. It’s also confirmed that there will still be no telephoto camera in the smartphone.
From the good news — the price of the Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to remain the same as the previous model. At least users won’t have to pay more for the same, already familiar camera specs.
