The cheaper Z Fold 6 model could be released in the second half of 2024 alongside the initial versions of the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. This would be Samsung’s biggest move yet in foldable devices, with three new models in different price categories. Global shipments of foldable devices are forecast to grow 23% to 15.8 million units this year, indicating growing consumer interest. It’s worth noting, the new entry-level Z Fold 6 could be a game changer for Samsung in China.
