Samsung has abruptly stopped releasing the update to One UI 8 for a number of certain smartphones

After recently launching the Android 16 update to One UI 8, Samsung has temporarily stopped rolling it out to a number of its devices.

The update is currently not available for the Galaxy S24, S23 and Galaxy M53 smartphones. Previously, a similar situation was seen with the Z Fold SE and S22 lineup, but the update process has been partially resumed for the latter and fully restored for the Z Fold SE.

In 2024, a similar incident happened with the One UI 7 and Galaxy S24. According to an Ice Universe insider, the distribution of the update for that series of smartphones was then halted in Korea due to a “serious bug.”
