Samsung has started teasering a new premium foldable smartphone

After launching three new foldable devices a few months ago, Samsung is set to introduce at least two new ones. One of them will triple fold, and the other — is a Chinese-only model that the company has begun teasering. Samsung’s new folding device will be available in three sizes, and the second — is a Chinese-only model that the company has begun teasering. The Samsung W26 will be announced on October 11, and like its W24 and W25 predecessors, the new product will likely be based on the current Galaxy Z Fold series — in this case, the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The teaser shows the silhouette of the smartphone: it will retain the lineup’s signature design with black and red body colors and a gold frame. According to insiders, the W26’s hardware won’t be any different from the Galaxy Z Fold 7: Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The smartphone will come with the One UI 8.0 shell and the promise of up to seven generations of Android updates. Other features expected are stereo speakers, 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, UWB, NFC and a USB 3.2 Type-C port.
