Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy A77 smartphone
Samsung looks set to revive the Galaxy A7x lineup, which the company discontinued after the release of the Galaxy A73 three years ago. The first confirmation of the existence of a new Galaxy A77 smartphone, which could debut as early as next year, has surfaced online.
Samsung’s first confirmation of a new Galaxy A77 smartphone is now available.
An unannounced Samsung smartphone with model number SM-A776B has been spotted in the Geekbench database. Following the company’s proprietary naming system, the device is likely to be released under the name Galaxy A77.

According to benchmark data, the Galaxy A77 uses a proprietary Exynos chip (S5E9865) developed by Samsung’s System LSI division. The processor has ten cores: six performance cores and four power-efficient cores. For graphics is responsible GPU Xclipse 940 on AMD RDNA architecture. The tested device has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 16 with One UI 8.x.
In Geekbench benchmarks, the smartphone scored 1,673 points in single-core mode and 5,597 points in multi-core mode. However, these results shouldn’t be considered definitive — the test was probably an engineering sample. The chip is similar to a slightly lower frequency version of the Exynos 2400 used in the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 FE.
The Galaxy A77 could be unveiled in the first half of next year, along with the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. The latter, too, has recently surfaced in the Geekbench database, features an Exynos 1680 processor, 8GB of RAM, Bluetooth 6.1 support and 45W charging.
