Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 smartphones will be unveiled on July 26

This year, Samsung plans to unveil its new foldable flagships at the Samsung Unpacked event, which will likely take place earlier than usual: the date of the big event has been pushed back two weeks to July 26.

The company’s representatives explain that this change is being made to improve the company’s financial performance, because the weak financial results of the semiconductor division make it more necessary than ever to promote the smartphone division.

Samsung is apparently trying to make up for poor results, as its latest financial report showed its operating loss was $3.4 billion. If the planned event takes place on July 26, the new devices will go on sale on August 11.
