Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: battery capacity confirmed

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: battery capacity confirmed

Samsung is gearing up to unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge as early as next month, and leaks continue to reveal new details about the smartphone. Recently, its dimensions, weight, screen and frame sizes, and possible pricing have been revealed. Now one of the main casualties in the pursuit of an ultra-thin design has been confirmed – battery capacity.

The Galaxy S25 Edge’s battery was found to be smaller than that of the base S25

The Galaxy S25 Edge was rumored to get the smallest battery in the S25 lineup. This information has now been confirmed by a certification in Denmark. According to the documents, the battery capacity will be 3,786 mAh, which will be listed as 3,900 mAh in the official specs. That’s even less than the regular Galaxy S25, which got 4,000 mAh.

This compromise is due to Samsung’s desire to make the device as thin as possible – it will be just 5.84mm thick. However, despite the sleek body, battery life is clearly not going to be the smartphone’s strong suit.

When it comes to the cameras, there will be just two sensors on the back, while the main module will offer an impressive 200 MP resolution.

Exit and Expectations

Samsung is banking on an ultra-thin design, even if it will affect battery life. An official announcement is expected as early as next month, with sales likely to start shortly after the presentation.
