The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will include three models

In January, the media reported that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, which is expected to be released in Q1 2024, will include two rather than three models — Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Korean conglomerate has abandoned the Galaxy S24+ model. However, according to new information, this will not happen, and the S24 series, like the S23 lineup, will include Basic, Plus and Ultra models.
Information comes from SamMobile and GalaxyClub, who claim that the Galaxy S24 series is codenamed «Muse» and there are three different codenames for the smartphones — Muse 1, Muse 2 and Muse 3 — suggesting that the S24 line will include a Plus version.

Galaxy S24 Ultra is codenamed Muse 3, so the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ may be codenamed Muse 1 and Muse 2, respectively. Sources have also confirmed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a 5x optical zoom telecamera, which will replace the 3x telecamera used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be equipped with a 5x optical zoom camera.
In April, we heard that Samsung would ditch the 3x telephoto lens in the S24 Ultra in favor of a single variable focal length, 3-10x zoom telephoto lens.
