What’s new in these exclusive updates?”
According to the official changelists, these new updates improve the overall stability and reliability of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung didn’t elaborate on what exactly these updates offer, nor did it reveal why only the Ultra models are getting them.

Some Galaxy S24 Ultra owners have reported that the update fixes a camera issue that was causing a rattling/mechanical noise when recording video and panning the camera in certain directions. This problem was also common with the Galaxy S23 Ultra, though the 2023 phone seems to have already received a fix some time ago.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra also had the problem.
Another oddity of these updates, which have build numbers S918BXXU5CXE1 and S928BXXU2AXE4 for the S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra respectively, is that they’re only being rolled out in Thailand and don’t seem to have been released anywhere else four days after they started rolling out in Asia.
We’ll have to wait and see if things change in the coming days and if the updates will also be released for the base and Plus models of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24. Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra owners can check if the update is available by going to «Settings» – » Software Update and selecting «Download and Install».
