Samsung Galaxy Ring: new details
Last month, Samsung briefly announced the Galaxy Ring smart ring at its Galaxy S24 Unpacked event. And today it revealed a few new details about its features and specs. The manufacturer is still keeping the price and availability of the ring under wraps.
The Galaxy Ring will be offered in sizes 5 to 13 (S to XL). It will have a concave shape that tapers in the middle, rather than the convex shape of the Oura ring. There will be three models to choose from: black ceramic, platinum-silver and gold.

Samsung Galaxy Ring is positioned as an addition to the Galaxy Watch, allowing for better health and activity tracking around the clock. The ring will be able to track heart rate, breathing rate, and sleep. It will also be able to detect early signs of sleep apnea.
At launch, the Samsung Galaxy Ring will be compatible exclusively with Samsung Galaxy smartphones, but there are plans to expand it to more Android smartphones later.
