Redmi Turbo 4 will debut with Dimensity 8400-Ultra and a 6550 mAh battery

Xiaomi kicks off the new year with the announcement of the Redmi Turbo 4 smartphone, which is the first device with the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip. The company has improved this chipset and now calls it Dimensity 8400-Ultra. The new smartphone also features a 6,550 mAh battery with Silicon Carbon technology and 90W fast charging support, just like the Redmi K80.

Main Specifications and Features
Redmi Turbo 4 features a 6.77-inch LTPS OLED screen with 1220p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a peak brightness of 3200 nits and Gorilla Glass 7i provides protection from damage. On the front of the device there is a 20 MP (OV20B) camera in the screen cutout, as well as an optical fingerprint scanner embedded in the display.

At the back of the device is a dual-tone glass panel that houses two camera sensors: a 50 MP main camera with a Sony LYT-600 (1/1.95 inch) sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), and an additional 8 MP ultra-wide camera.

Software and additional features
The smartphone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 operating system based on Android 15. The Redmi Turbo 4 is IP66/68/69 water and dust resistant and also features an infrared port for controlling home appliances.

Prices and Availability
Redmi Turbo 4 will be available in black, white and blue colors. The smartphone is available for purchase in China from today through Xiaomi’s official channels.
