Nubia is gearing up to launch a new Red Magic 10 Pro series of gaming smartphones powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The lineup will include two models, the Red Magic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+, one of which has already appeared in the Geekbench database with model number NX789J, which likely indicates the standard version of the Red Magic 10 Pro, continuing the numbering after the Red Magic 9 Pro (NX769J).

The Red Magic 10 Pro will be available in two models.

On Geekbench benchmarks, the device scored 3,167 in the single-core test and 10,081 in the multi-core test, thanks to the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The chip has two main cores clocked at 4.32GHz and six other cores running at 3.53GHz.

One of the most interesting features of the Red Magic 10 Pro will be the new OLED screen developed in collaboration with BOE. Nubia claims that the device will have the narrowest bezels thanks to COP packaging and SIP packaging technology, which will create a true full-screen experience with an under-screen camera. The company’s recent teaser also hints at “the highest resolution in the history of full-screen displays,” though exact resolution details are not yet available.

In addition to a powerful processor, the Red Magic 10 Pro series is rumored to support ultra-fast 120W charging, which is especially useful for gamers who need to cut down on downtime. There are also rumors of an Ultra version with a 7-inch screen and a 7,000mAh battery.

From a design perspective, the Red Magic 10 Pro series is expected to move away from the flat back of its predecessors and get a more pronounced protrusion for the camera, which may indicate an improvement in its capabilities.
