Realme is preparing a smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery – release in early 2026

Realme continues to push the idea of increasing battery capacity in standard-sized smartphones. Earlier this year, the company showed a prototype with a 10,000 mAh battery, with a body thickness of just 8.5mm and a weight of 215 grams. However, the off-the-shelf variant won’t be available until 2026 at the earliest.
Realme vice president Chase Xu said the launch of the 10,000mAh smartphone will take place in early 2026. It’s not yet clear whether the final model will be based on the Realme Chill Fan Phone concept unveiled at the 828 Fan Festival. That device utilized an active cooling system with a fan and a Peltier element. In addition, the company showed a concept with a 15,000 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, Realme is set to release a smartphone with a 7,500 mAh battery this year. The brand already has several models with 7,000 mAh batteries and two with 7,200 mAh (Neo7 Turbo and GT7 for the Chinese market). So the 7,500 mAh version will be an interim step before a major push to 10,000 mAh and beyond.
