Realme GT5: the name is officially confirmed

In February, Realme unveiled the GT3 smartphone, and we recently learned that it would be replaced by the GT5. Those rumors turned out to be true, as the company has officially confirmed the GT5 name by setting up its booth at China Joy 2023 in China and confirming the existence of the GT5.
Realme has now officially confirmed the GT5 name.

The brand has also confirmed that the GT5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. While we wait for more details from Realme about the GT5 series, leak author OnLeaks claims that the GT Neo 6 will be sold as the GT5, presumably outside of China. That’s not surprising, as the GT3 — is a rebadged GT Neo 5 240W, available only in China.

Two Realme smartphones with model designations RMX3820 and RMX3823 were recently certified by TENAA. They are believed to be the GT Neo 6 and GT Neo 6 Pro. According to TENAA, these are similar smartphones with different battery capacity and charging speed. Whether the GT5 Pro will be a rebranding of the GT Neo 6 Pro is still unknown.
