The manufacturer has revealed the features of Sony Xperia 1 VI and 10 VI cameras

Japanese retailer Rakuten Market has released images of the camera protection glass for two upcoming Sony smartphones: the Xperia 1 VI and 10 VI. They clearly show the shape of the rear modules of the devices, which will be larger in size compared to current models.

The images show the contours of the camera units of the new units compared to the current versions. The protector for the Xperia 1 VI measures 1.5×5.2 cm, which is larger than the previous model. The number of sensors will remain the same as its predecessor, including a flash and a microphone cutout.

Some of the sensors will remain the same as the predecessor.

Insiders claim that the Xperia 1 VI will have the same set of camera sensors as the Xperia 1 V — a 48MP main sensor and two 12MP each (ultra-wide and telephoto lens). It is expected to improve the quality of shooting at the software level. The smartphone will also have a 6.5-inch screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and up to 16GB of RAM.

The Xperia 10 VI’s rear camera module will also increase — from 1×3.2cm to 1.6×3.3cm. It will include two sensors and an oval LED flash between them.

The Sony Xperia 1 VI is rumored to be priced at least $1 200 (R$110 130), while there’s no information about the Xperia 10 VI yet. Both products are scheduled to be unveiled on May 17.
