Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro and Pro+ smartphones for gamers have been unveiled

Nubia has unveiled two new products at once: the Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro and 9S Pro+ smartphones. In addition to colorful looks and powerful hardware, they also feature some artificial intelligence gaming features, an active cooling system, and a high-capacity battery with high-speed charging function.

Nubia has introduced two new smartphones, the Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro and 9S Pro+.

Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro+ features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2480×1116 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz (2160Hz PWM, 960Hz sensor sampling rate). A built-in fingerprint scanner, high maximum brightness (up to 1600 nits) and accurate color reproduction (10-bit color gamut, 100% DCI-P3) complete the list of screen features.

The top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, overclocked to 3.4GHz, is responsible for the performance of the novelty. Depending on the modification, the standard amount of LPDDR5X RAM is 16GB or 24GB, UFS 4.0 storage is 512GB or 1TB. The cooling system includes a 10,182 mm² evaporation chamber and a fan with a speed of up to 22,000 rpm.

The rear camera includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor and an ultra-wide sensor with the same resolution (Samsung JN1, 120°), as well as a 2-megapixel GigaDevice GC02M1 secondary sensor. The resolution of the front camera below the screen is 16MP. The audio system includes stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and three microphones.

An audio system is also available.

A 5500mAh battery with 165W fast charging is responsible for the autonomy of the novelty. The body dimensions are 163.98×76.35×8.9 mm and the weight is 229 grams. Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro differs from the “plus” modification in battery capacity (6500 mAh) and fast charging capabilities (80W), as well as memory configuration.

The two smartphones support several useful artificial intelligence features. For example, Smart Navigator offers game recommendations and a speech-to-text algorithm. Red Magic Moments helps you automatically take screenshots and record screen videos. And Mora’s Smart Assistant provides gameplay advice based on the context of what’s happening on screen. There are also basic AI tools like photo processing, image scaling, background image generation, text summarization, on-screen image recognition, and advanced search.

Sales of the new product are expected to start on July 9 at the following prices:
