Poco F7 will be released at the end of May: expect Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 90W fast charging
By ForGeeks Xiaomi is preparing to unveil the Poco F7 smartphone – its announcement is expected at the end of May. This was reported by insider Yogesh Brar. Earlier in April, the brand launched the Poco F7 Ultra and F7 Pro models, now the standard version will be added to them. Among the first markets where the novelty will appear is likely to be India. A global release is also possible.
The Poco F7 is expected to be a renamed version of the yet-to-be-unveiled Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, whose specifications have already surfaced in leaks.
The smartphone will reportedly get a 6.83-inch flat OLED LTPS display with a resolution of 2800×1280 pixels (1.5K) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The front camera is 20MP, while the main camera is 50MP with an additional 8MP module, presumably for ultra-wide-angle shooting.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (SM8735) processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. A 7550mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging is also claimed.
The smartphone will run Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 shell. Other expected features include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, an IR port, and water and dust protection to IP68/IP69 standards.
The dimensions of the device, according to leaks, are 163.1 × 77.93 × 7.98 mm and weighs 219 grams.
