Ahead of the launch of the Vivo S50 series scheduled for December 15 in China, details about the memory configurations, storage options and colors of the S50 and S50 Pro Mini have hit the web. Both devices have appeared on pre-orders on major retail sites, and Chinese tech bloggers have clarified the options available to buyers.

Vivo S50 will be offered in four combinations of RAM and internal memory: 12/256GB, 16/256GB, 12/512GB and 16/512GB. The model comes in four color options: Space Black, Confession White, Serene Blue, and Inspirational Purple.

The Vivo S50 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 platform. The 6,500mAh battery supports 90W charging. The main camera includes a 50-megapixel LYT-700V sensor.
Vivo S50 Pro Mini will get a 6.31-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, according to published details. The model also uses a 6500 mAh battery, but additionally supports 40-watt wireless charging along with 90-watt wired charging. The main camera is built around a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 sensor.
The two models feature LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.1 storage, a 50-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscopic camera. The smartphones run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, feature an ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint scanner, an aircraft-grade metal frame and are IP68/69 rated.
In the global market, the S50 Pro Mini will be released under the name Vivo X300 FE, according to insiders. Separate leaks also indicate that the international model Vivo V70, expected to be released in the first quarter of 2026, will be close in specifications to the Vivo S50.
