Oppo is preparing to launch the K13x shockproof smartphone

The design of the Oppo K13x is inspired by the natural structure of sea sponges. Inside the case is a cushioning system made of elastic materials that dissipate shock. This porous structure effectively distributes the force of drops and protects the internal components from damage. The case is based on AM04 aluminum alloy, which is used in aircraft construction. It provides increased strength compared to previous generations. The plastic center frame reduces the overall weight of the device and improves ergonomics.
Oppo K13x has received the MIL-STD 810-H shock resistance certification, which confirms its resistance to shock and vibration. The smartphone also has SGS military certification and SGS Gold Drop-Resistance award, proving its reliability in drops simulated in laboratory conditions. Oppo has published a video showing real-world durability tests of the new device.
The screen is protected by Crystal Shield glass, which is 160% more shock resistant than standard solutions. It comes with a shockproof case that provides extra protection right out of the box.
The device is IP65 rated, making it resistant to dust and low-pressure water jets. Sealed gaskets protect ports, and Splash Touch and Glove Touch let you use your smartphone even in rain or with gloves on.
The smartphone will be available in two colors, Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach. The device has been drop-tested on granite from various angles, proving it’s resistant to typical everyday damage.
