Oppo unveiled the Find N3 with SD 8 Gen 2

Oppo Find N3 has officially been unveiled, and even better, it will be the company’s first horizontal convertible to make it outside of China. The Find N3 continues the tradition of shorter and wider «book» style convertibles. On the outside is a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2484×1116 and a dynamic refresh rate of 10-120Hz. The display has an almost traditional 20:9 aspect ratio and delivers peak brightness of up to 2,800 nits.

Fold out the Find N3 and you get a 7.82-inch display with a resolution of 2440×2268, a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120Hz and the same peak brightness.

Oppo Find N3 features the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip coupled with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of storage. The device is powered by a 4,805mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging support. The company claims that 100 percent charge can be achieved in 42 minutes.

The Find N3’s camera kit, built on Hasselblad technology, is impressive. There are two selfie cameras — a 20MP one on the inside and a 32MP one on the cover screen. The wide-angle camera on the back is Sony’s new 48MP LYTIA-T808 sensor with «a pixel stack» — 1/1.43″ dual-layer transistor technology — essentially a redesigned pixel architecture that promises better light sensitivity and, as a result, better image quality.

There’s also a 48MP 1/2-inch sensor behind a 14mm f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens with autofocus. Then we get a zoom camera —64-Mp 1/2″ sensor with a 3x 70mm f/2.6 stabilized periscopic lens.
This camera offers hybrid zoom up to 6x or 145mm.
The camera is also available as a hybrid camera.

Find N3 allows up to three windows to be placed on the screen at any given time — both vertically and horizontally. The company calls it a 15-inch virtual screen. Some apps support split-screen in-app functionality — such as editing two documents in Microsoft 365 or viewing two photos in Gallery. According to Oppo, 95 percent of major apps support extended screen, and you can resize the active window in a multi-window configuration as you see fit.

Oppo Find N3 comes in four colors and two finishes — black and red have vegan leather back panels, while green and gold — frosted glass. Interestingly, the Champagne Gold model also has a color-matched camera island. The Find N3 will be sold in a single 16/512GB variant priced at €1,650.
