OnePlus 15R is officially unveiled
OnePlus partially unveiled the OnePlus 15R back last month, but now its full specifications and pricing have been revealed. It was previously known that the model is much the same as China’s OnePlus Ace 6T, but there are still a few differences between the devices.
The main difference — the battery. While the Ace 6T has an 8,300mAh battery, the OnePlus 15R has a smaller but still impressive 7,400mAh battery. It uses a silicon-carbon anode, and support for wired charging is limited to 80W, down slightly from the Ace 6T’s 100W.

Another difference concerns the front camera. The OnePlus 15R has a 32-megapixel sensor, whereas the Ace 6T has a 16MP front camera. The software has also changed: the smartphone runs on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 and supports the full OnePlus AI feature set.

All other key specifications are the same as the Ace 6T. The smartphone gets a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a variable refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The performance is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The main camera comes in a dual module: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor with a 24mm equivalent focal length and optical stabilization, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 112° angle of view and a 16mm equivalent focal length. The device also received a full set of dust and water protection standards — IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K.
OnePlus 15R will be available in Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze colors. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at $699. The model with 512GB of storage will cost $976. Pre-orders start today, and open sales will begin on January 15.
