In the Nothing OS 3.0 code, references to three code names were found: asteroids, asteroids_plus, and galaga. These are probably designations for the Phone 3a, 3a Plus and CMF Phone 2 models. According to the findings, the Phone 3a devices could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processors, while the CMF Phone 2 could be powered by an unnamed MediaTek chip.

Besides performance changes, camera improvements are expected. The Phone 3a could get a telephoto lens, while the Phone 3a Plus model could get a Periscope zoom camera.

It is also reported that Nothing smartphones can support eSIM. This makes the device easier to use, allowing you to connect to carriers without a physical SIM card. With a SIM card slot, users will have the ability to work with multiple numbers at once.
