Nothing Phone (3): official renders have been released

Nothing Phone (3) is set to be unveiled on July 1, and the company has already revealed a few details about the smartphone. Earlier this month, whistleblower Max Jambor published an image of the Nothing Phone (3) that showed the phone’s design, but it seems that image was fake, as the new photos that have surfaced on the web, which are official renders, look quite different.
These renders, published by Android Headlines, give a better idea of the Nothing Phone (3) smartphone. They show the smartphone in both black and white variants.

The Nothing Phone (3) has a perforated display on the front for the selfie camera, but the back panel is more interesting… unusual. The smartphone has three rear-facing cameras, with the top camera closer to the edge of the phone than the bottom camera. This arrangement seems odd.
Details about the cameras have not been disclosed, but it’s confirmed that one of them has a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens. The other two cameras (main and ultra-wide-angle) are also rumored to use 50-megapixel sensors. The black circle you see on the right side of the back cover stands for Glyph Matrix.

The body of the Nothing Phone (3) can also be seen in these images to be made of metal. The volume buttons are located on the left, and the power key — on the right. It’s joined by another button that could be the main key, which we’ve previously seen on the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro.
Nothing also confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8s gen 4 and will receive OS updates for five years and security updates for seven years.

The leaked specs of the Nothing Phone (3) include a 6.7-inch OLED display with FullHD+ resolution, a 50-megapixel camera for selfies, and a 5,150mAh battery. The smartphone is also said to support 100W charging, but a recent certification listing said it would be 65W instead.
