Nokia G42 with Snapdragon 480+ and 50MP camera released

HMD Global has added a new mid-priced smartphone called the Nokia G42 to its range.
The smartphone has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The display has a teardrop-shaped cutout for the 8-megapixel front camera and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.


There is a triple camera on the back with a 50MP main sensor and two 2MP auxiliary sensors. The hardware base of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 480+ chip, which is accompanied by 4/6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash memory. The amount of internal memory can be increased by using a microSD card. The battery capacity of 5000 mAh is responsible for the battery life.
All the features include IP52 protection, a headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Nokia G42 in the 6/128 GB version is priced at 249 euros.
