A new leak reveals the specs of Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphones

Ahead of a massive unveiling scheduled for July, new details about Samsung’s upcoming devices have leaked online. These include the first-of-its-kind Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, improved versions of the Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, as well as the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. Moreover, rumors suggest that a triple-folding smartwatch and the rugged Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 could also mark their debut.

According to a new leak, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will come in black and white colors, while the Z Flip 7 will be offered in black, blue and coral red. The Z Fold 7 model, on the other hand, will come in black, silver and «Blue Shadow» color. This information is preliminary, and the list of colors is sure to expand closer to the announcement.

It’s worth noting that «Coral Red» will be the first red version among Samsung’s foldables – not even the Z Flip 6 had such a hue. But «Blue Shadow» for the Z Fold 7 sounds like a more interesting alternative to the usual dark blue.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fan Edition will likely be visually reminiscent of last year’s Z Flip 5 rather than the flagship Z Flip 6, inheriting many of its design and performance traits. The devices will also differ in terms of memory capacity:

• Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE – 128GB and 256GB;
• Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE – 256 and 512GB;

There will thus be no 128GB base configuration in the Z Flip 7 lineup, clearly separating the Fan Edition from the base model. There’s no data on the 1TB version yet, which likely means it won’t be available. RAM is expected to remain the same at 12GB.

Prices have not yet been revealed, but it is known that all new products will be introduced at the same time.

In addition to foldable smartwatches, Samsung is also preparing next-generation smartwatches. The Galaxy Watch 8 is expected to retain 40mm and 44mm case sizes, and the color palette will include graphite (gray) and silver variants. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is rumored to come in only one size and will be available in black and white.

The previously leaked renders of the new watch show a number of exterior changes, while the internal updates will appear more modest compared to the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 6 Classic.
