Motorola Razr 2025 revealed in new images: gearing up for imminent release

Motorola continues to expand its lineup of foldable Razr smartphones, and images of upcoming models have surfaced online again. We’re talking about the Razr (2025) and Razr Plus (2025), which outside the US will be called the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra. These devices have been in leaks before, but they’ve now been officially registered in the database of Chinese regulator TENAA, confirming their imminent market launch.
According to the images, the appearance of the new products practically will not change compared to the previous generation, keeping a slim and elegant design. The base Razr (2025) will be available in the colors Spring Bud, Lightest Sky and Gibraltar Sea, though the final shade names may change. The older model Razr Plus (2025)Midnight Blue, which is likely featured in the latest leaks.

Registration with TENAA indicates that the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra will be released first in China, and then go global. Motorola traditionally launches its foldable smartphones in the PRC first, so the same strategy is likely to be applied this year.
The flagship Razr 60 Ultra (Razr Plus 2025) promises to be the company’s most powerful foldable foldable smartphone company. It is expected to get the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which will provide an edge over the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 if the latter does come out on the Exynos 2500. Another important difference is more affordable pricing, as Motorola has traditionally offered its foldable devices cheaper than Samsung.

In addition to high performance, the Razr Plus (2025) could get up to 12GB of RAM and come out with Android 15 on board, offering new AI features. Battery life promises to improve too – the smartphone will feature 4,200mAh battery and support for 68W charging, a marked step up from last year’s 4,000mAh and 45W.

If the leaks are confirmed, Motorola could once again release a serious competitor in the foldable smartphone segment. Now we just have to wait for the official announcement and confirmation of the specs.
