Motorola Edge 70: first renders show the design of the upcoming smartphone

It’s been a little over a week since the Motorola Edge 60 series was officially announced, and the first images of the next model, the Edge 70, have already surfaced online. While this is unofficial information, the early renders give a glimpse of the device’s design, which appears to be almost identical to its predecessor.
And the first images of the next model, the Edge 70, have already appeared online.
The images show that the Edge 70 features a dual-sided curved display, an aluminum frame, and a vegan leather back cover. The camera unit is slightly raised and includes a triple main camera, with the fourth element being the LED flash.

The Edge 70’s specs are currently being kept under wraps, which isn’t surprising – the device hasn’t been officially unveiled yet. Nevertheless, we can assume that they will be close to the parameters of the Edge 60. It is expected that the novelty will receive a chipset MediaTek Dimensity 7000 or, possibly, a more modern Dimensity 7400. The main camera may retain 50 MP, supplemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom.

There’s no official launch date yet, but renders could hint at a September release. That would be just five months after the Edge 60’s release, which is pretty quick for a new model, so we should expect more confirmations and leaks in the coming months.
