iQOO Z10 Lite: new name, familiar face and possible rebranding

The iQOO Z10 lineup is about to get another smartphone, the Z10 Lite. The device has already passed Bluetooth SIG certification and has been spotted in Google Play’s database of supported devices, which is confirmed by its name and model number I2409.

Although official specs have not been revealed yet, the Z10 Lite is expected to rank below the Z10x model. Rumor has it that the iQOO Z10 Lite and vivo T4 Lite are the same device, just with different names for different markets. This practice is nothing new for vivo and iQOO: last year’s Z9 Lite and T3 Lite turned out to be identical.

Interestingly, the firmware of the Z10 Lite and T4 Lite are the same as the vivo Y19 and Y29s, differing only in the main camera module – 13 MP on the Y19 and 50 MP on the Y29s. This could hint at two variants of the Z10 Lite, depending on region or configuration.
With all the information available, it’s possible that the iQOO Z10 Lite will get a 6.74-inch LCD screen with 720×1600 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and up to 570 nits of brightness. Inside, there’s a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, 4/6/8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of expandable storage, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 5,500mAh battery with support for 15W charging.
