Introduced iQOO 12 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor

Last night, iQOO released its new lineup of smartphones —«12». It includes a basic and a Pro version, which are similar in many ways, but there are differences in design, display and battery.
The iQOO smartphone is the only one of its kind in the world.
The base iQOO 12 comes in three colors: red, white and black. The hardware backbone of the smartphone is the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The camera unit consists of three modules. The main sensor is a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch OmniVision OV50H sensor behind a 23mm optically stabilized lens. The telephoto lens has a 64-megapixel 1/2-inch sensor and a 70mm f/2.57 optically stabilized lens. It is a 3x zoom optical unit that can provide 10x “HD zoom” and up to 100x digital zoom. The third module — a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 15 mm focal length and its own macro mode.

The iQOO 12 has a 6.78-inch display with 2800×1260 pixels and 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has two battery options — 5000 mAh and 4880 mAh. Both offer 120W wired charging and do not support wireless charging. How they differ — isn’t clear.

The iQOO 12 costs €515 for the 12/256GB model, €552 for the 16/512GB model and €605 for the 16GB/512GB model. No global launch date for the smartphone is yet known.
