According to early leaks from a Chinese blogger, the upcoming phone could be part of the Mate 80 series and be called the “Mate 80 Air.”

Huawei’s new ultra-thin smartphone is expected to be less than 5.5 millimeters thick to compete with other thin models. The device is planned to feature the latest Kirin 9030 5G chipset, which will offer high performance and fast apps. The internal storage capacity can reach up to 2 terabytes, which is much more than standard options.

The new product will completely switch to eSIMs, eliminating the need to insert physical SIM cards, and eSIM management will be integrated into the system, which is scheduled to launch in late 2025. The device’s battery will be made using silicon technology, which promises to increase its capacity and provide long run times without recharging.
