Huawei Mate 70 Air with 7-inch display and 6500 mAh battery unveiled
Huawei has officially unveiled the new Mate 70 Air smartphone in China, adding to its series of thin and light premium devices.
The Mate 70 Air gets a large 7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760 × 1320 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate. It’s just 6.6mm thick, with a capacious 6,500mAh battery inside with 66W fast wired charging support. The weight of the device is — 208 grams. The smartphone has an IP68/IP69 rating, which guarantees resistance to water and dust.

The device is available in two versions that differ in terms of RAM and the processor used. The 12GB RAM variant runs on the Kirin 9020A chipset, while the 16GB version — is powered by the Kirin 9020B.
While the 12GB RAM variant is powered by the Kirin 9020A chipset, the 16GB version is powered by the Kirin 9020B.

The Mate 70 Air’s main camera includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization, a 12-megapixel RYYB telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 1.5-megapixel color sensor. The front camera has a 10.7-megapixel resolution and is designed for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone runs HarmonyOS 5.1 and supports a number of AI features. Additional features include — a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2 with LE support, Hi-Res Audio, Beidou satellite connectivity, NFC and 5W reverse wired charging.

Huawei Mate 70 Air comes in three colors: gold with «silver brocade pattern», white «feather» and black «obsidian». The smartphone is already on sale in China via Huawei’s official online store.
Prices depend on the memory configuration:— 12GB + 256GB — 4199 yuan (about $590),— 12GB + 512GB — 4699 yuan (about $660),— 16GB + 256GB — 4699 yuan (about $660),— 16GB + 512GB — 5199 yuan (about $730).
