Honor has unveiled two new models in the X60 series. There are more differences between them than last year’s X50 models. Let’s take a closer look at their features.

Honor X60 Pro gets a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels. It has 10-bit colors and can achieve a peak brightness of 3000 nits, which are controlled by a high-frequency PWM dimming of 3840 Hz.

The X60 Pro runs on Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, which is worse compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 used in the X50 Pro. In fact, the 6 Gen 1 is the same chip used in the base X50. To be fair, it’s better than the chip inside the base X60, as it can record 4K video with the main camera.

By the way, both phones have 108-megapixel cameras and 2-megapixel depth sensors. Those are 1/1.67″ sensors with 9-to-1 binning (effective pixel size of 1.92 microns) and 3x zoom in the sensor. There is no optical stabilization.

The main camera in this model is similar to the Pro model, but it can’t shoot 4K video. The selfie camera shoots at 8MP resolution.

The Dimensity 7025-Ultra serves as the hardware backbone of the smartphone. RAM can be 8GB or 12GB, while flash storage is available in 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB.
