Honor Win will be equipped with 5920Hz PWM dimming technology
Honor is gearing up to launch a new line of Win gaming smartphones and is betting on something that the gaming segment usually pays less attention to — eye comfort.
Ahead of the official unveiling, scheduled for December 26, the company confirmed that all Win series smartphones will get a proprietary display with AI Oasis technology for vision protection. The screen is optimized specifically for 3D gaming and dynamic scenes, and features an anti-headshake system that should reduce eye strain and reduce motion sickness symptoms during long gaming sessions. Honor claims it can reduce discomfort levels by up to 54 percent, but actual results will require independent tests.
One of the key features of the display will be PWM dimming at 5920Hz. Honor claims this is the highest «risk-free» flicker suppression in the industry. The screen has also received TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 5.0 certification, which takes into account protection against dry eyes and fatigue during prolonged use.

The lineup will include two models: the flagship Honor Win and the more affordable Honor Win RT. Both versions come with an impressive 10,000mAh battery designed to handle long gaming sessions without frequent recharging.
In terms of performance, Honor doesn’t skimp either. The older Honor Win model is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset coupled with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage. Sound is handled by the Honor Surround Subwoofer 2.0 system with two symmetrical speakers for louder and more spacious sound.
