A new leak about the Honor Win series of smartphones has surfaced online, revealing details about one of the least-discussed facets of the lineup. While these devices are primarily positioned as being focused on maximizing performance, the fresh information reveals that Honor hasn’t neglected photo capabilities, hinting at a more balanced flagship approach.

According to insider Bald Panda, both smartphones — Honor Win and Win RT — will feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The back of the Win RT will house a dual camera setup with a primary 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700 sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module.

A Honor Win RT will have a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700 primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module.

Honor Win, for its part, will get a triple camera. The same main and ultra-wide-angle modules will be joined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX856 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. This configuration shows that the company is committed to delivering decent shooting quality, even in devices that are primarily focused on power.

Besides the cameras, the leak also reveals other general features of the lineup. The smartphones will get an ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with a combination of 1216 and 0809H modules, and support for high-frequency PWM dimming at 5920Hz. The case will be about 76.6mm wide, indicating a large and immersive form factor.

It was previously reported that the Honor Win will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while the Win RT — will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both smartphones will feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 185Hz refresh rate and thin bezels about 1.4mm thick. A 10,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging via cable and 80W over-the-air is responsible for battery life. The Win RT version will retain the same battery and 100W wired charging, but will lose wireless charging for the sake of cost reduction. Both devices will also get a built-in cooling fan.

Honor has officially confirmed that the Win series will be unveiled in China on December 26. There’s no information about the global launch yet.
