Honor unveiled the 400 series of smartphones with improved AI camera

Honor has announced the international launch of its new Honor 400 series of smartphones. The devices have received advanced features that utilize artificial intelligence algorithms – both in shooting and post-processing of photos and videos.
One of the major technical innovations is the 200MP main camera. It features a 1/1.4-inch sensor, an f/1.9 aperture lens, and optical and electronic image stabilization. This allows you to take sharper and brighter photos in low light. In addition to the main camera is used ultra-wide-angle camera at 12 MP with a viewing angle of 112 ° and macro function. The 50MP front camera supports AI algorithms for portrait photography.
The Honor 400 series is equipped with the AiMAGE suite of software solutions. It includes, among others, AI superzoom with up to 30x zoom and AI Portrait Snap, a mode for capturing portraits in motion. Harcourt portrait mode and classic film effects are also available.

A new feature is Veo 2, a system powered by Google Cloud Vertex AI that can automatically create short videos from static images. HD Moving Photo is also available: the camera saves a three-second snippet before you press the capture button. A separate Moving Photo Collage tool combines up to nine such photos into a movie clip.
Features available for editing photos include AI Eraser to remove objects, AI Outpainting to expand image boundaries, AI Erase passers-by, and AI Remove Reflection.
The flagship Honor 400 Pro model gets an additional 50MP telephoto lens with triple optical zoom and OIS, as well as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. New features include AI Enhanced Portrait mode with improved detail and accurate color reproduction, and AI Superzoom up to 50x. The device supports 100W wired charging and up to 50W wireless charging. The case is IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistant.
Honor 400 will go on sale in Midnight Black, Meteor Silver, Desert Gold, and Tidal Blue. The Honor 400 Pro has three variants: Midnight Black, Lunar Grey and Tidal Blue. Launch dates and pricing will vary by region.
