Honor Magic6 will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

At Snapdragon Summit 2023, Honor announced that the upcoming Magic6 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Honor announced that the upcoming Magic6 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The Magic6 will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s built-in generative AI language models to power a new personal assistant called YOYO. The large language model will be able to use up to 7 billion parameters and, being built into the device, won’t need to remotely transfer personal data to work. That means you’ll be able to prompt the personal assistant with answers to questions, create short videos using photos and videos stored on your device, and it will be able to provide answers that are tailored to you.

The other new feature is called Magic Capsule — a multimodal interaction based on Snapdragon Seamless technology with eye-tracking. Honor hasn’t yet given a timeline for the Magic6 announcement, but it’s expected to arrive before March 2024.
