A new smartphone is indeed in development, and its official unveiling is likely to take place in August.
The novelty will get a 6.8-inch foldable LTPO OLED display with FHD+ resolution, as well as an external 4-inch LTPO OLED display with the same resolution – similar to last year’s model. The cameras won’t change much either: expect a dual module where the main sensor will be 50 MP with a 1/1.5-inch size, just like the original V Flip.

The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, but not the Elite version. The source doesn’t specify which processor will be used. The device will also feature a 5,500mAh battery with 66W or 80W fast charging support.
On the whole, the update doesn’t look dramatic, with the main improvements being a new processor and a slightly larger battery.
