Honor Magic8 Pro flashed in Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and 16GB RAM

Honor is gearing up for the launch of the new Magic8 series, which is expected between October and December, and rumored — as early as mid-October. Previously, the Magic8 Pro smartphone impressed with its AnTuTu score, and now a prototype of the device has also appeared in the Geekbench database.

The model numbered BKQ-AN90, presumably referring to the Magic8 Pro, scored 3,634 points in the single-core test and 10,813 points in the multi-core test in Geekbench 6.4.0 for Android. The smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and is packed with 16GB of RAM. The device will come with Android 16 out of the box.

Honor has already officially confirmed the use of the new chipset, but the appearance of a prototype in tests suggests the Magic8 series will debut soon.
Besides powerful «hardware», the lineup will get the MagicOS 10 shell with deep AI integration. The company claims support for local AI models and «agent» features in more than 3,000 scenarios for over 100 popular applications.
Special attention to cameras: the Magic8 Pro will get a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with an 85mm equivalent focal length and f/2.6 aperture.
